 Padstow Mayers. On Mayday each year the Cornish village of Padstow celebrates a unique festival. Drums and dancing feet beat out winter and welcome Spring accompanied by two Hobby-horses and their supporters. The Red or Old 'Oss and the Peace or Blue 'Oss dance all day (with short breaks for refreshment) along the streets and amid the happy crowd. Support Red or Blue. |
